Sheldon joined AK Child & Family in 2022, assuming the role of Chief Human Resources Officer after concluding a distinguished career in the United States Army that spanned over 22 years. He possesses more than 18 years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive strategic human resource strategies. In addition to his extensive experience, he holds a Master of Science in Psychology, and SHRM-CP. Throughout his professional journey, he has gained substantial expertise in various aspects of leadership and human resources, including talent management, training and development, compensation and benefits, compliance, market analysis, strategic operations, and the employee journey.
In his capacity as Chief Human Resources Officer, he is tasked with formulating and directing all human resource strategies at AK Child & Family. His responsibilities are critical and include succession planning, talent management, change management, enhancing organizational performance, staff development, fostering workplace culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing the workforce, and nurturing employee relations. Moreover, his role involves leadership and the capacity to influence, making decisions grounded in data analysis, promoting innovation, ensuring inclusivity, managing compensation and benefits, and collaborating with the Human Resources department and Payroll consulting firm.
His methodology prioritizes a data-driven approach in the formulation of human resource policies and initiatives.
