Home-Based Treatment

AK Child & Family’s Home-Based services has a primary focus of working with a youth in developing skills necessary to be safe and stable within their home and community. In this program, work is primarily done with the youth however some skill development may be implemented within the family where needed, in their roles of support for the youth. Clinical services may be provided, as appropriate, for the youth and their family. Additionally 24 / 7 on call emergency services are available as needed to support the youth in stability. The Home-Based service model engages the community in providing available support and activities as well as empowering the youth and family to rely on their own strengths and resources to address well-being and change.
