Jenna Prather, Director of Admissions

In 2021, Jenna relocated to Anchorage, Alaska, and began her journey with AK Child & Family. She joined AK Child & Family as a Clinical Intake Therapist in 2021 and transitioned to Director of Admissions in 2024. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Jenna earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Psychology from Huntington University in 2016. Originally from Indiana, she began her career in case management, teaching skill-building to individuals and families. In 2019, she earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and began providing outpatient therapy. With nine years of experience working with children and families, Jenna is now furthering her expertise with a specialization in Attachment Therapy.

As Director of Admissions, she leads a team of Clinical Intake Therapists, overseeing referrals for the agency’s treatment programs. Jenna’s top priority is helping families navigate residential and community-based mental health services for their children. She is passionate about ensuring families find the right care to meet their unique needs.
