Now that the Holidays have drawn to a close and the tree, decorations and lights have been taken down and stored, we would like to take a moment to reflect on all the great acts of generosity and kindness that went into making the season as special as possible for all of the children here at AK Child & Family.
With the many bighearted donations from the Mitzvah Mall, the First United Methodist Women’s Christmas Auction, our Christmas Elves and their gift shopping and delivery, the students we cared for over the holidays benefited from witnessing the benevolence, compassion, and caring that ultimately brought smiles and joy to many.
It is because of these acts of altruism that all of these children have been able to go into this New Year happy and with something new to be grateful for.
In keeping with the spirit of a new year, new beginnings and new perspectives, we here at AK Child & Family will continue to endeavor to fan these flames of positive growth and fuel a better and brighter tomorrow.
